Lots of exciting things coming from D23’s Destination D: Celebrating Mickey Mouse this weekend! Fans awaiting more news on the multi-year expansion at Epcot will be excited to learn that we have some new details on the nighttime spectacular that will, eventually be replacing IllumiNations: A Reflection of Earth in 2020.

This new spectacular will celebrate how Disney music inspires people around the world, and will feature massive floating set pieces, custom-built LED panels, synchronized fountains, lights, pyrotechnics, and lasers!

But before that new show will appear in 2020, there will be a limited time nighttime show that Epcot fans around the world will love called, “Epcot Forever”. This show will debut in fall 2019 and will run for a limited time. It will feature classic Epcot tunes and will start with a spark of imagination that swells into an epic spectacle of lasers, lighting, fireworks, music and special effects kites.

Also announced today was the new name of the “Ratatouille” attraction that will be making its way to the France Pavilion in the World Showcase: Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure. Also coming to the France Pavilion is an all-new “Beauty and the Beast” Sing-Along! The Canada pavilion is also in the process of updating the existing O Canada! 360-degree show.

The first-ever ride through attraction featuring Mickey Mouse will have a new original story and theme song as it takes guests on a wacky and unpredictable journey into some of Mickey’s cartoon shorts.

Disneyland park will get some new celebrations of their own beginning with Get Your Ears On – A Mickey and Minnie Celebration which will feature new entertainment, food and merchandise.
