Epcot Transformation: All-New Nighttime Fireworks Spectacular Set to Replace ‘IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth’

A long-standing tradition at Epcot is coming to an end. After 20 years of delighting guests with amazing fireworks, stirring music, and so much more, “IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” will be ending it’s run at Epcot at the end of Summer 2019. This show has entertained millions of guests since it’s opening as part of the Walt Disney World Millennium Celebration at Epcot in October of 1999.

The Disney Parks Live Entertainment team is already hard at work creating something new for the park as part of the multi-year transformation of Epcot. The team is looking to add new experiences that will continue to “Wow!” guests while still keeping true to the original spirit of the park. The new show will be set to debut immediately following the ending of IllumiNations’ illustrious run.

This new nighttime spectacular joins the already announced “Guardians of the Galaxy” roller coaster, a “Ratatouille”-inspired attraction in the World Showcase, and a new space-themed table-service restaurant adjacent to Mission: Space, and much more!

Stay tuned to the Savvy Pixie for any new updates regarding this spectacular new show, and much more exciting news as we await the multi-year transformation of Epcot at the Walt Disney World Resort.
